Glaze components marked 'toxic' should not be used for tableware. Other unmarked ingredients may be harmful to health on skin contact or if inhaled or ingested. Frits may contain Lead Bisilicate. General safety precautions for ceramic materials apply. Neither Ceramics Today nor its Editor Steven Goldate will bear any responsibility for illness or injuries suffered due to the use of the Web site, in particular but not exclusive to use of supplied glaze recipies and associated materials, from incorrectly used glazes and/or ingredients, nor for any damages due to unexpected glaze results. All glazes should be tested before use.
