State University Ceramics
In addition to a 3,400 square foot open studio, the ceramics area
includes graduate studio space, kiln room, damp room, clay and glazing
room, and a large work yard with wood, salt, and raku kilns. The
equipment in the main studio consists of fifteen wheels, wedging
tables, a Brent slab roller, extruder, and two slip machines.

NY/NJ Academy of Ceramic
Ceramic artist Frank Bosco and his wife, Ann, founded the Academy

Embodying both a history as a traditional crafts school and the
drive toward innovation, OCAC ceramics grounds students in basic
building, finishing and firing techniques. Concurrently, students
work with clay as both a sculptural and functional medium.
Otago Polytechnic School
Probably the best ceramics department in New Zealand and the only
NZ school offerring full time ceramics to BFA and MFA levels.
Richmond Art Center
offers classes and workshops in ceramics, among other media. In
addition there are many children's classes to choose from. Richmond
Art Center exhibits contemporary emerging artists in its galleries.
José State University
with Stan Welsh, Professor and Monica Van Den Dool, Lecturer. Offers
students at all levels an opportunity to explore the potential for
clay as a medium for developing individual direction. Instructors
teach a wide range of technical skills and building techniques in
combination with conceptual development.

levels. International applications are encouraged. Specialisations
